Day 1: Arrival
Met on arrival at Kilimanjaro airport and brought to Impala Hotel for overnight

Day 2: Arusha to Marangu, onto Mandara Hut.
Depart to Marangu gate & walk 3-4 hours to Mandara Hut at 9,000ft, close to the Maundi Crater for overnight.

Day 3: Mandara to Horombo Hut.
Walk out of the rain forest and into tussock grasslands to Horombo Hut 3,720m (12,200ft), 5-7 hours.

Day 4: Horombo to Kibo Hut.
From Horombo Hut you will climb to Kibo Hut 4,703m (15,430ft), 13 km, 6-7 hours up the valley behind the huts, last water point and onto the Saddle.

Day 5: Kibo to Uhuru, descend to Horombo Hut.
At midnight attempt to reach the summit, the steepest and most demanding part to Gilman’s point at 18,640ft on the Crater rim & on to the highest point – UHURU PEAK. Descend to Horombo Hut.

Day 6: Horombo to Marangu gate, and back to Arusha.
The decent continue past Mandara Hut to the Park Headquarters where successful climbers collect certificates of achievement. Thereafter transfer back to Impala hotel.

Day 7: Departure
Transfer to Kilimanjaro airport for departure flight or continue for safari with us.
