After breakfast with game viewing enroute drive to Ol Duvai gorge a prehistoric site where the skull of “Zinjanthropus” believed to have lived over 1.5 million years ago was found. Day 7 ~ Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Ngorongoro Crater Tour. After breakfast descend though the early morning mist into the crater for game viewing in this natural amphitheater formed by the collapse of an extinct volcano, host to the big five; elephant, lion, buffalo, the elusive leopard & also the best place to spot the endangered black rhino. Day 9 ~ Lake Natron - Ol Doinyo Lengai
Full day in the Lake Natron area. Options include a climb of Lengai with Maasai guides. Oldonyo Lengai is one of the youngest volcanoes in East Africa and possibly the most active with almost continuous low-key activity since 1883.
